Production Planning Spec

Responsibilities: Develop, adjust, and manage production schedules for completed goods and subcomponents (on a weekly basis).Calculate resource requirements (workers, materials, machinery) for each production run.Ensure on-time production time by maintaining adequate raw material inventory.Streamline processes and shorten lead times to improve efficiency.Modify schedules to meet deadlines and adjust for unforeseen issues.Oversee production output and ensure orders are fulfilled on time and within budget.Monitor the production process to identify and address scheduling conflicts or delays.Regularly update management on production status.Promptly communicate changes to production schedules to relevant departments.Collaborate with various departments (e.g., purchasing, inventory) to ensure resource availability.Continuously identify opportunities to cut production costs.Recommend and implement strategies to enhance production process efficiency and quality. Requirements: At least 5 years of working experience in production planning in apparel or garment manufacturing.Proficiency in relevant software and Material Requirements Planning is a must.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.Exceptional crisis management and problem-solving leadership.
